Support to help you be at your best, more often.

Science-based coaching and workshops to help you think differently, build resilience and make lasting changes.

I work with people who feel stressed, stuck, unfulfilled, or who just want more from life.

Using psychology-based approaches,
we explore what you truly want, and how you can achieve it.

My Services

  • I offer personalised 1:1 wellbeing coaching to help you think clearly, build confidence, develop resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Through supportive yet challenging conversations, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, shift your mindset, reconnect with what matters most to you, and help you move towards a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling and authentically yours.

  • Using the below 2x evidence-based psychometric tools, I help individuals deepen self-awareness, understand behavioural patterns, and uncover strengths, motivations and development opportunities.

Skills Discovery (formerly Strengths Profile: The assessment is grounded in positive psychology principles, focusing on maximising potential through strength development rather than fixing weaknesses. Understanding and strategically applying your strengths can lead to greater engagement, performance, and well-being. The tool measures up to 80 different strengths across the three dimensions of performance, energy, and use.  It provides personalised development recommendations based on each individual profile.

Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT®2) - The assessment measures actual emotional intelligence abilities to predict and enhance success and improve business outcomes. As the only abilities-based EI assessment, it directly measures skills rather than relying on self-reporting. Developed by field researchers Mayer, Salovey, and Caruso, this scientifically validated tool functions like an IQ test for emotional reasoning, providing accurate feedback and developmental recommendations for personal and professional growth.

  • I design and facilitate interactive, practical and reflective wellbeing and resilience workshops that create space for honest conversation, learning and growth.

Using research in psychology, neuroscience, and emotional intelligence, I share powerful, evidence-based approaches and tools, and blend theory with practical application, lived experience and real-world understanding.

My sessions help individuals build the knowledge, skills and confidence to show up as their best more often and bounce back from challenges more easily.

About Me

A joyful young woman (Sophie) with brunette hair and face glitter, wearing a denim jacket and patterned scarf, enjoying outdoor sunlight during sunset.

I’m a wellbeing coach and facilitator who knows what it is, and what it takes, to go from surviving to thriving

Born in Scotland and raised internationally, I have always been fascinated by what helps people all over the world to thrive. This led me to a degree in Psychology, yet ironically, after graduating, I felt totally lost.

Fast forward a few years and I was stuck in survival mode in a job that was sucking the life out of me. I was burnt-out, anxious and miserable in what I like to call my ‘quarter-life crisis’.

So I quit my job and bought a one-way ticket to another country! What followed was the transformative discovery of the science of human flourishing, and a journey of career and personal changes, learning, and growth. That knowledge and experience now fuels and informs my passion for helping others to navigate their own path towards greater balance, satisfaction and fulfilment.

On top of my education and lived experience, I draw on a decade of work in coaching, training and consulting, including partnering with global organisations such as J&J, BASF and Allianz to embed coaching across their leadership and culture.

In my coaching and workshops, I bring warmth, curiosity, non-judgement and humour, with a dose of appropriate challenge so that my clients can make the changes they truly want to make.

 FAQs

  • Therapy often looks to the past to help you heal, process challenges, or work through difficulties that may be affecting your present. It can be especially helpful if you’re dealing with unresolved trauma, mental health concerns, or need a safe space to process emotions in depth.

Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused. It’s about where you are now and where you’d like to be. As your coach, I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, I support you in clarifying your goals, building on your strengths, and developing practical tools to move forward with greater confidence and purpose. I do so whilst adhering to the global code of ethics for coaches.

  • Everyone’s journey is different, so I tailor the coaching process to your individual needs, goals, and pace. Some people come for a few sessions to get work on a specific or immediate goal (e.g. gaining clarity, stress reduction, or a mental reset). Others stay longer to really embed mindset shifts and lasting change.

In my experience, and supported by The International Coaching Foundation and coaching outcome studies, meaningful transformation usually takes a minimum of 3-6 months. This gives you time to explore, practice, reflect and grow at your own pace.

The flow of any engagement will always follow the below:

    • Free chemistry session – A complimentary call to get to know each other, explore what you’re looking for, and see if coaching feels like the right fit for you.

    • First Session: Initial goals & intentions – Clarifying what you’d like to focus on and set intentions for our work, creating a roadmap that feels meaningful and achievable.

    • Regular 1:1 sessions – Meeting for one hour at a cadence that suits you and maintains momentum. We’ll have focused conversations where you’ll gain clarity, explore challenges, and build practical tools to move forward. Each session is shaped around what matters most to you in that moment. We’ll continuously be reflecting on your progress, celebrating wins, and adapting the journey so it continues to serve you well.

    • Between-session support – You may receive reflective exercises, tools, or prompts to deepen your insights and keep momentum going between sessions.

  • The free chemistry session is a no-pressure opportunity for us to meet, discuss what you’re looking for, and get a feel for how we might work together. It’s your chance to ask questions, experience my coaching style, and see whether it feels like a good fit, before making any commitment.

Coaching is a personal journey, and it may not be the right fit for everyone. If at any point you feel that coaching isn’t what you need, you are free to end the engagement. My goal is to support you, not to keep you in a process that doesn’t feel aligned.

  • Yes, I work with clients across the UK and internationally, offering both virtual and in-person coaching sessions and workshops in central Edinburgh.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer the space to someone else who may be waiting.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full session fee may still apply, except in the case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. I will always approach these situations with understanding and compassion.

My intention is to create a flexible and supportive coaching relationship, while also respecting both your time and mine.
